AURA with FRAME OF MIND

Who We Represented

When Frame of Mind Wines needed to stand out at a Patrick Henry Creative Promotions event, they didn't want another step-and-repeat backdrop and a hashtag nobody would use. They wanted an experience guests would actually stop for — and remember. That's where Fox and Darling’s Aura Portrait Booth came in.

Their brand is built entirely around mood: Pessimist, Realist, and Optimist wines, matched to "the moment you're actually in." «Take the quiz and see which wine is right for you.

The Challenge

‍ ‍

With roughly 300 guests expected and a room full of exhibitor and sponsor brands competing for attention, Patrick Henry Creative Promotions needed an activation that could do double duty: draw a crowd on its own, and give every guest a reason to linger, connect, and walk away with something tangible from the night.

‍ ‍

The Aura Experience

‍ ‍

Fox & Darling brought Aura Portrait Booth on-site to deliver studio-quality portraits in the middle of a live event — no appointments, no waiting rooms, just guests stepping in front of the lens and walking away with a polished, professional image of themselves in minutes.

‍ ‍

Over the course of the day, the Aura team captured 189 individual portraits — meaning well over half of the 300 guests in attendance made time to stop, pose, and take part. In a room full of competing activations and amazing brands vying for the spotlight, that kind of turnout speaks for itself: people didn't just walk by; they lined up.

‍ ‍

Why It Worked

‍ ‍

A portrait is personal in a way a branded tote bag or a spinning wheel prize never will be. Guests weren't just interacting with a booth; they were leaving the event with an image of themselves, tied directly to the experience Frame of Mind built for them. That's the kind of moment that gets shared, screenshotted, and remembered long after the last drink is poured.

‍ ‍

For an event competing against other amazing brands (and there were AMAZING BRANDS represented) for guests' attention, Aura Portrait Booth gave Frame of Mind Wines something the rest of the room didn't have: a reason for every guest to stop, and a keepsake that kept the brand top of mind well after the night ended.

‍ ‍

The Numbers

‍ ‍

  • ~300 guests expected

  • 189 professional portraits captured

  • 60%+ of attendees engaged directly with the Aura activation

‍ ‍‍ ‍

The Takeaway

‍ ‍

Trade shows and corporate mixers live or die on one question: did anyone actually remember you were there? For Frame of Mind, Aura Portrait Booth turned that question into an easy yes — one portrait at a time.
